Subject: Background Material on Warning for
t Use at 12 March Working Group Meeting
Tab B of the reference memorandum contains a report on "Small-w"
Warning prepared by the Product Review Division of the Intelligence
Community Staff. In paragraph five of the report are listed the seven
Alert Memoranda which have been issued to date. The purpose of this
memorandum is to request copies of the seven Alert Memoranda as listed
and to further request that I be added as a named recipient for all future
Alert Memoranda. Currently Alert Memoranda are addressed only to
the appropriate geographic area officer on the NSC Staff. To fulfill my
responsibilities on the NSC Staff, it is important that I receive such
intelligence reports and that I receive them on a timely basis.
