SUBJECT: DoD Intelligence Substantive Objectives
1. The attached is a draft copy of substantive
objectives produced by DIA. The substantive objectives
are to be included in Part II of the JIPORD (Joirt.t
Intelligence Priorities, Objectives and Resources
Document).
2. There are' 15 "subject categories" which are
subdivided into 52 substantive objectives. The DIA
substantive objectives are analogous to the KIQs and
are amplified by the DKIQs. Thus, the DKIQs represent
specific questions about DIA's substantive objectives
and ar?e more specific than the intelligence questions
represented by the KIQs.
