SUBJECT: Cyprus Post-Mortem Meeting
1. At the suggestion of the Director of Central Intelligence,
USIB consideration of the IC Staff.'s post-mortem report on Cyprus
has been postponed. This was done in order to permit us to convene
a meeting of appropriate community officers concerning reactions
to this report. Accordingly, we ask you please to designate a
representative from your organization to attend a session on this
subject in Room 6E0708, CIA Headquarters Building, on Wednesday,
19 February, at 1000. We will not seek coordination of this report
(this would run counter to the objectives of a post-mortem exercise),
but would welcome comments concerning specific facts,: interpretations,
and judgments.
