MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy~to the DCI for the Intelligence
Community
SUBJECT: Strategic Warning Review Group
1. The memorandum (opposite) is forwarded for your
signature. It calls for the convening of the Strategic
Warning Review Group to discuss the subjects noted.
2. At a later date, we will provide you with sup-
porting data for your use at the proposed meeting.
3. A copy of DCID 1/5, which stipulates that the
D/DCI/IC is responsible for reviewing the functioning of
the strategic warning process, is attached for your info.
Also attached is a copy of the USIB minutes covering dis-
cussion of the Strategic Warning Staff at the 9 October
meeting.
