SUBJECT: Weekly Activities Report
I. NEW ITEMS - none.
II. ON-GOING ITEMS
1. Washington Area Imagery Transmission System (ITS-W)
A preliminary status report was circulated which presents in
detailed outline the substance of the report which is being
prepared for submission to the USIB by the Ad Hoc IHC Working
Group on this subject. The report is nearing completion and,
after coordination with appropriate components, should be
ready for submission at the 2 October meeting. Meetings are
now taking place with the contractor for the system on the
result

2. NIPS
The final draft of Annex D, Part I covering the dissemination
section of the NIPS has been completed. Annex D, Part II
covering the mid-term objectives is in the process of drafting.
3. CONTEXT
An inspection was made of the CONTEXT terminal/conference area
selected by the Department of State. It is conveniently located
near the analysts and the Operations Center and it was suggested
that it be enclo to minimize the noise level. Action officers:
