ON-GOING ACTIVITIES STAT STAT A. Community Imagery Systems . IC Staff front office and C/IHC taking several actions with D/DIA; Director, Joint Staff; #SD(I) staff; and within CIA to bring to focus several Imagery dissemination proposals. Anticipate briefing for DCI in coming week, and depending on further DCI guidance may present subject at USIB in two weeks. Action Officers: LPD/DCI/IC 0 IHC4 B. State-CIA Interface on Project SAFE. D/INR has requested DCI approval for State involvement in SAFE. C/IHC acting as intermediary t6b1g; about discussions between CIA/CRS and INR Staffs. Action Officers: IHC/j STAT C. ComputerizedGraphics. IHC continuing to identify community interests in computerized graphics as offering capabilities to aid in intelligence presentations. A second informal meeting to ascertain community interests and rograms being held in coming week. Action STAT Officer: IHC /F7 I STAT D. Data Standards. IHC consultant, and COINS STA Program Manager, met with C/IHC to consider COINS needs for improved data standards. Action Officer: IHC ST, E. State Dept. Automated Systems for Information Handling. IHC has sponsored two trips by CIA personnel from OJCS, OC, and her Agency components to be briefed on and inspect State's automated facilities for handling communications and for internal message distribution. IHC has served as intermediary to achieve agreement between CIA and NSA for CIA to provide to the Intelligence Community in October 1976 operator-assisted secure voice conferencing. Users will be able to take advantage of this capability through their MA re and CIA green secure telephone systems. Action Officers: PRD/I IHC4I G. NOIWON Operating Procedures. Slightly revised NOIWON operating procedures have been distributed to the Intelligence Community through the USIB Secretariat (USIB D-71/11/1, dated 3 March 75).
