Morning Meeting of 21 July 1967
DD/I commended for the Director's reading the Special Report
in today's Weekly Review entitled Impact of Arab-Israeli Conflict on
Eastern Europe.
Godfrey discussed Soviet maneuvering in the United Nations for
a Middle East resolution.
Godfrey briefed on the war in Nigeria.
Houston noted that thirty-five legal students this year, as opposed
to seven last year, from the Federal Summer Intern Program have ex-
pressed interest in Agency employment.
DDCI briefed the Director on yesterday's USIB meeting.
The Director briefed on yesterday's SIG meeting.
The Director said that he will be at NPIC next Tuesday in connec-
tion with the Vice President's visit.
The Director remarked on the coverage of Soviet missile shots
in this morning's publications and said there is no substitute for being
in print first.
