Morning Meeting of 16 June 1967
Godfrey discussed Soviet arms deliveries to the Middle East and
commented on the size and composition of the Soviet delegation for the
special session of the General Assembly. The Director suggested that
he discuss the composition with the Department of State. Godfrey said
that OCI is preparing a memorandum on the delegation today.
Kent informed the Director that the reps have agreed that another
NIE on China is not necessary at this time.
DD/S&T said that the Ramo Panel is satisfied. Its report will
be distributed to the USIB principals.
DDCI called attention to an ONE memorandum on Nigeria and sug-
gested dissemination. The Director agreed.
The Director said that the studies prepared for McGeorge Bundy
had been fine.
1. The Director asked Warner to contact the members of our
Congressional committees concerning the Pearson-Anderson column
in this morning's Washington Post. (Warner - Immediately following
the Morning Meeting)
