DD/I reported the dissemination to the White House yesterday of an analysis of the Egyptian economy. The Director gave guidance on further distribution to include Secretaries McNamara and Vance, General Wheeler, and Department of State personnel. DD/I reported the dissemination yesterday of an intelligence memorandum on Nigeria. DD/I passed the Director a paper in typescript on the importance 1 Godfrey discussed the location of shipping with respect to the Strait of Tiran. Godfrey called the Director's attention to a cable reporting I Irequest the withdrawal of the U. S. air training unit and a second cable discussing Prime Minister Wilson's trip to the U. S. this Friday. Kent briefed the Director on the decisions of the Board of Trustees of the Educational Aid Fund and said that he will prepare a letter for the Director's signature. Kent passed the Director a copy of the Shreveport Journal. Bross reported on Parrott's meeting with Bohen, the secretary of the President's Task Force on Government Reorganization.
