A-DD/S briefed the Director on thel rogram and said that the 47-minute film on security reindoctrination is ready for the Director's review. The Director decided that, in lieu of Tuesday's Morning Meeting, the Executive Committee would view the film at 0900 in the auditorium. 0 for Warner reported that he had begun delivery yesterday Bross reported on General Maxwell Taylor's briefing yesterday and noted the General's concern on the situation in the Philippines and in Korea. Bross briefed the Director on conversations with Bromley Smith concerning the Knox report, and proposed to discuss this with Bob Bowie at lunch next week. A-DD/S&T reported on his lunch with yesterday and briefed the Director on the loss of last night's TACKLE mission south of Shanghai. He also said that he is hosting a luncheon for General Del Mar. 25 The Director asked the DD/I to keep a close watch on the situation in the Philippine Islands. Goodwin noted the request for clearance for publication of an article by two NPIC technicians which he had remanded to the Director, NPIC for clearance.
