Morning Meeting of 17 May 1968
Godfrey drew attention to a report that the VC sapper units
are inside Hue.
DD/S&T noted that a U-2 s scheduled for
DD/S&T reported that an SR-71 flamed out last night after
making one pass.
The Director briefed on the disposition of the OXCART and
asked Maury to ensure that word is passed to Senators Russell,
Stennis, and Milton Young and Congressmen Rivers and Bates.
