Godfrey noted that NMCC knows nothing about the reported Red Alert in Saigon. 25 25X1 DD/S briefed on the impending pay raise, noting that the Com- mission for Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Salaries is to begin its work on 1 July and is scheduled to report to the President on 1 December. DD/S briefed on the revised PATB for Agency applicants, indi- cating that part of the test will be given in the field and that the more sensitive aspects will be administered in Headquarters. Carver indicated that has warned the Bundy com- mittee of the difficulties which the mobilization decree will pose for the RD cadre.
