Morning Meeting of 2 July 1968
ADD/I gave the results of the last two GIANT SCALE missions
over Vietnam. The addition of a few MIG-21 aircraft to the enemy's
inventory was observed.
ADD/I apprised the Director of a recently completed study sum-
marizing foreign shipping to North Vietnam during the three-year
period of the ROLLING THUNDER operation.
Godfrey showed the Director an OCI publication on the countries
to be visited by the Presiden

D/ONE announced that the Estimate on security conditions in
Central America is under way and will be available by COB Wednesday.
Maury reported that Senator Ervin will be testifying before the
Henderson subcommittee today on the S. 1035 issue.
