MORNING MEETING ACTION ITEM
TO: DD/I
DD/I drew attention to a cable from Saigon providing a useful
explanation of the differences between CIA and MACV concerning the
role of Cambodia in supplying the enemy in South Vietnam. DDCI asked
the DD/I to consider whether a personal note from the DDCI to Admiral
.Zumwalt on the Cambodian matter would be helpful.
The DDI has conferred with the DDCI, and it has been
decided that it would be helpful for the DDCI to write
Admiral Zumwalt. The letter has been prepared.
