MORNING MEETING ACTION ITEM
TO: SAVA
The Director advised that William Bundy has reconvened the Laos
working group and noted rising concern about the situation in Laos. The
Director asked the DD/ P to ensure that or another senior
official participates in the working group. D/ON noted the existence
of an ONE staff paper on the political situation and Communist policies
in Laos, which he will review in terms of making it available to the
working group. The Director asked that Carver explore whether
SAVA's informal weekly report on the Laos military situation can be
polished up for wider, more formal distribution.
