MORNING MEETING ACTION ITEMS
TO: Legislative Counsel
Maury advised that Senator Mundt has agreed to receive General
Vang Pao next week. The Director asked that FE Division put together
an appropriate briefing paper for Senator Mundt to serve as background
on Vang Pao and Laos.
Maury noted that there is no sign of life in the Henderson Sub-
committee concerning the Ervin bill and that it appears to be a dead
matter for this session. Maury inquired whether there should be
follow-through in any case with Senator Ervin. The Director demurred
for the time being, asking Maury to remind him of the issue periodically
between now and the elections.
