MORNING MEETING ACTION ITEM
TO: Legislative Counsel
Maury reported that Senator Ervin has reintroduced his bill with
fifty-three sponsors. Executive Director noted his view that, rather
than attack the bill per se, the Agency should seek an exception to its
provisions. The Director asked that Maury get in touch with Robert
Hampton, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, and Bryce Harlow
in an effort to table Agency considerations.
