The Director observed that Newsweek is developing an article
on reconnaissance satellites. The Director asked that Goodwin's office
provide no backgrounder and asked that all concerned avoid providing
any information on this topic.
Action Taken: 4 April 1969
Director/NPIC has been advised of the Director's guidance
by the DDI. Chief/IRS has been instructed to inform the COMIREX
Staff.
