that Chi Comms fired 90 rounds of
artillery at the Quemoys on 17 Feb-
ruary, the heaviest firing in Quemoy
area in several weeks.
2. Current shelling does not compare,
however, with concentrated Communist
fire last fall.

guns around Quemoys have been withdrawn
to protected points. They can be
moved into firing position in short
time.
