SUBJECT: Request From Australian Current Affairs Bulletin
That I Write An Article For This Publication
1. The attached letter was forwarded to me by Mr. Armstrong
and arrived while you were on leave. As you will see, the editorial
board of the Current Affairs Bulletin has asked me to write an article
on Buddhism in South Vietnam. This seems to be a reputable and
eminently respectable journal published by the University of Sydney.
2. My personal inclination is to decline with thanks since I
would be hard pressed to find the out-of-office ti e in which to do a
proper job and want no rerun of last spring's con etemps. I do not
want to act one way or the other, however, witho t knowing your opinion.
