SUBJECT : Invitation to Address Project USEFUL No. 13
1. During the period 2 through 6 October 1967, the Office
of Training,. in conjunction with the Planning Support Gxoup of
the Missions and Programs Staff/DDP, will present the annual
C7A orientation fax senior personnel selected by the Joint Chiefs
of Staff. This one-week orientation, known as Project USEFUL,
is designed for military officers whose current or impending
assignments within a major continental or overseas command
requirel~ close and frequent contact with GIA representatives.
The primary objective of the orientation, of course, is to
maintain and improve CIA-DOD cooperation and coordination
by providing these officers with the opportunity to become more
fully and accurately acquainted with the Agency's mission and
capabilities in peace and war.
2. You are cordially invited to discuss the folrawing topic
at the time and place indicated below:

course the overall coherence which enhances effectiveness,
