Thank you for the loan of'the Clay report
which I am returning herewith. The Director
called a few minutes ago to say that he wants
me to accompany him to the White House
meetings today (Monday) on Cambodia and
Wednesday (9 June) on the Vietnam assessment,
but that he is asking you to accompany him to the
meeting on Tuesday (8 June) which will deal
with Laos and, presumably, the matters raised
in the Clay report. I will be seeing Laird today
and will call you as soon as I get back if anything
comes up that would be useful for you to know
prior to the White House session on Laos.
