As you know, I live in rural Great Falls .(Virginia) , about thirteen miles from the Agency . (A, map of my home is (or should be) on file with your office, Security and the Motor Pool.) About eight of these miles are traversed by Virginia Route 193, roughly four by a distinctly secondary local rural road (Walker Road/Beach Mill) and the final mile by a graveled private road. Tn any real winter storm involving serious snow, this route (or much of it) is simply not traversable by a normal auto. I 2. Given the above I would like t~ lay on again the stand-by arrangements for emergency pick-up and delivery that were in effect (though never needed) last year. As noted in last year's request, any vehicle icking me L~.p could of course also pick up other officers such as and Dick Lehman, whose homes are either on the direct route to mine or on y a few hundred yards off it. 3.
