The work of the Task Force on National Security and
Peace with which I know you are familiar is progressing
satisfactorily but we do believe that it would be of great
value to us if we could have the opportunity to discuss with
you some of the problems that confront us. The Task Force
is meeting in Washington at the Mayflower Hotel on June
24th and 25th and I sincerely hope that your schedule will
permit you time to join us on one of those days. I would
very much appreciate your letting me know here at Trinity
College, Hartford, if you can be with us and at what time
so that we may plan our agenda. We are most grateful
for your interest and cooperation,
With my kindest regards,
