Y. MURRAY HILL 2-1000 May 5, 1959 Mr. Allen W. Dulles Director of Central Intelligence Central Intelligence Agency Washington, D. C. Dear Allen Dulles: An old city editor of mine once told me Itd never get a really good interview until I was turned down two or three times. So, here I am again -- knowing that I write to you at a very trying moment. Once more I thought I would ask you if you could do, what we refer to around this shop as, a "guest column?" There may be a piece lying around on the Soviet's World Federation of Trade Unions, which would be terrific. Very few in this country now know the full mean- ing of WFTU. However, if there is any other subject that you would prefer to put before the labor and industry people who follow my copy, that would be fine, too. Should this be possible, I would need some--800 words in the form of column, or a statement, by June 15. With warmest regards, Victor Riesel VR:dp Approved For Release 2003/05/23 : CIA-RDP80R0l731 R000300010001-1 CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY OFFICIAL ROUTING SLIP Col.
