you won't forget Lubbock, Texas, and your Lubbock friends, we are
sending you under separate cover a memento of your visit to Lubbock
which is a miniature reproduction of our "red carpet" which we rolled
out for you on your arrival.
We were so in hopes that this would be ready so we could present it to
you while you were here --- but as usual, there were delays in manu-
facturing, and we just received delivery --- consequently, the delay.
We hope that you will find some spot for this small gift which can be
hung as a tapestry, or used as a cover for a back bar or small table,
and we hope it will help express how much we in Lubbock enjoyed the
opportunity of getting to know you and having you visit our city.
