I In particular, I should like to call your attention to the existence of the Guided Missiles Intelligence Committee (GMIC), a subcommittee created by the Intelligence Advisory Committee very recently for the express purpose of ensuring the fullest and most effective effort in obtaining and publishing intelligence on this subject. The GMIC has its headquarters in the Pentagon and includes representatives of the services and of this Agency. Its Chairman is Lt. Colonel George H. These estimates were based on every scrap of intelligence then available.
