tremely valuable contribution and are anxious to take any appropriate
steps to insure that those concerned wits. the selection of personnel for
assignment to this Agency better understand our or nation, mission,
and functions. To this end I have invited the Deputy Chief of Staff, Per-
sonnel, Department of the Air Force, the Chief of Naval Personnel, and
the Deputy Chief of :$taff for Persomel. Department of the Army, to
briefings on 5, 10, and 12 September 1957 respectively.
:I hope that it will be possible for you, Colonel Lansdale, and
..olonel Stewart each to attend one of these briefings. If you could join
