I was so happy to have your note of
September 12th and to learn that some action
was being taken on my recent communication.
I remember so well meeting you one
evening just before you joined CIA. I thought
at the time what a marvelous break it would be
for Allen to have you with him. At that time,
as you may recall, I was trying to get the In-
formation program reorganized and out of the
State Department.
