Belatedly, thanks for your efforts regarding my
desire (abounding curiousity) to witness the
nuclear test at Eniwetok. I realize that this
was a difficult quest but had, somehow, under-
stood it was going to be much more general
this time and, for that reason, exercised such
temerity to ask.
We wish it were possible for you and Mrs.
Dulles to spend several days at Carmel this
Autumn. It is the simple life in an attractive
place.
