MEMORANDUM FOR: THE DIRECT.
General Vandenberg's letter suggests revision
of procedures for processing CIA requests for Air
Force logistic support to provide for direct
liaison between CIA and various Air Staff agencies
rather than funnelling through a single point.
Your reply concurs in recognizing the need for a
more adequate system of contacts.
The exchange of correspondence serves to
confirm arrangements already prepared informally
for discussions between Air Force and CIA rep-
resentatives. Recommend signature.
