We know you are much too busy to take
part of a day off to attend a stag party in New
York but if you should happen to be there April 14,
this is Mike Cowles' invitation. About 60 men
from the Hill will go up as our guests in special
cars on the 12 noon Pennsy train and return on the
sleeper that night. You would be very welcome in
the group but we will settle for you dropping in if
you are in New York that day.
We also invite the governors of several
eastern states and a couple dozen members of the
Republican National Committee. The party has no
significance or purpose - just an opportunity for
Mike and John Cowles to entertain some 400 of their
friends at an informal stag reception and buffet
dinner.
