I want to express my appreciation for the
excellent talk you gave to the students and
faculty of the Army War College. That it was
enthusiastically received was indicated by the
questions which followed your talk.
The students who are working on the
problem of the National Intelligence System
found the after lunch conference one of the
best periods they have had this year, and I
appreciate the fact that you delayed your de-
parture to give the students this additional
time.
I enjoyed very much our brief acquaintance
and hope there may be other pleasant opportu-
nities to extend it. Thank you again for your
effort.
