At your request I looked into the source or supply of the inaugural medallion resented to our recent F_ I The fol- lowing Desk, who I am sure wou be glad to e p i you are interested in stockpiling. 2. The medallions were struck by the Philadelphia Mint on behalf of a little-known organization, the Committee to Re-elect the President. Approximately four inches in diameter, the obverse shows a profile of President Nixon overlapping one of Vice President Agnew. On the reverse is the seal of the United States. The medallion you saw was the bronze version, which retails at $6; a silver version, much more handsome, is appropriately priced at $45 each. Our source of supply was the coin and stamp department of Woodward and Lothrop, Chevy Chase. know. 3.
