Lt. General Vernon A. Walters
Deputy Director
Central Intelligence Agency
Washington, D.C.
On behalf of the Chicago C.I.C. Association, I
want to thank you and compliment you on the excellent ad-
dress you made before our national convention on August 2,
1975. In all the years that we have been having conventions,
I don't think we ever had a more interesting and informative
speaker.
I have a request to make of you, and that is I
taped your remarks and turned the tape over to your aide. We
have had numerous requests from our membership to obtain a
copy of your address. I would appreciate it if you would
furnish us with either a transcript of your remarks or a copy
of the tape.
Again, on behalf of the Chicago C.I.C. Associa-
tion, I wish to thank you for coming to our convention. If
you are ever in Chicago and could give us a few days notice,
we would be pleased to arrange a luncheon or dinner with our
membership.
Very truly yours,
j
ROB RT W. ROONEY
