COOPER: VI. GENERAL WEST: Invocation Ask audience to be seated and enjoy luncheon. State that you are Bill Cooper, President of the Dallas Council on World Affairs. Welcome all to this luncheon of the Dallas Council on World Affairs, co-sponsored by the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Especially welcome those who have come from out of town to hear this program. Among these introduce Lt. Gen. B. E. Powell, USA-Retired, Chairman of the Board of the Fort Hood National Bank, and Mrs. Powell, who is a member of our own Les Femmes du Monde. Introduce others at Head Table (except General West and General Walters) and ask them to stand and remain standing. Ask audience to withhold applause until all are introduced. Brig. Gen. John D. Torrey, USA-Ret. Executive Director, Dallas Council on World Affairs, who will monitor the question period. Mrs. Vincent E. Thompson, President, Women's Group of the Dallas Council on World Affairs. Judge John Whittington. Ask Mr. Henry S. Miller to come forward and receive a plaque in appreciation for six years of dedicated service to our Council. Introduce MG Harley B.
