Mr. Davies, State, called to advise he had talked with Mr. Bohlen
who regretted that he could not act in the matter as requested
by Deputy Director on 25 March. Mr. Davies suggested that
since there will probably be continuing cases, it would be
best to make arrangements to handle at the "very top".
Mr. Jacobus, National Security Resources Board, advised that he was
currently making a study on censorship planning -- as discussed
by the Deputy Director and General on 25 March. That when 25X1
tie Deputy Director returns from trip in about ten days, he
will contact Mr. Jacobus for briefing of progress on study.
