(Formosa) on Evacuation of Chinese Rationalist
Personnel from Bursa,
The attached memorandum, with annex, has been sent to me by
the Acting Chairman of the OCB Working croup on IISC 1+6/2. You
will note that the first recommendation for additional funds for
the second phase of evacuation from Burma is presented as a matter
of urgency. I therefore request that it be considered as emergency
business at the Assistants' meeting of Friday, February 19, with a
view to including it, if necessary, on the agenda for the Doard
meeting of February 24,
