Not knowing your present address, I am
sending this note to First Army.
Inclosed is a letter fromi
which is self-explanatory. He is Trying
hard to be of further service to his country. There
is no need of my telling you o# because
you know him longer than I; however, I sincerely hope
that you can find a place for him.
Irene and I enjoyed very much our short
but pleasant visit with you and Nora the other night
at Governors Island, and only wish you could have
stayed on longer at First Army.
Irene joins me in very best regards to
you and Nora.
