Dear General,
I got back from my trip aro$nd the world two
weeks ago but have not written you earlier because I
thought that with Administrations changing this is no
time to come to Washington. I just want you to know that
I am available and whenever you have time to see me please
let me know. After Feb. 15 I will be on a lecture tour!.
I spent seven weeks in Italy, five in Yugoslavs-.,
two in Turkey, four in Israel, one in-Pakistan, seven an
India, one in Burma, 1-j in Siam', one in Indo-China,
one in Hongkong, one in the Philippines, five in Y apan, an?
two in Alaska - altogether nine months and a week. It was
most exciting and illuminating study t9ur; it's
distressing how much there is to learn.
I remember sending you two letters.
I hope you and yo1jr family have been wells
wish you a happy, useful 1953.
