Description of a 6.12-a (overall) tinyr to be used fitly or as a utilI
boat for large ships. Craft has a besa of 1.96 a, draws 0.46 a, 1.275-t dispUree-
seat, and a speed of about 13 Dots using a 28-10 M motor (iii) turning up
3000 rpn, connected with gearing which drops the rpm to 1500. Lever starting
eliminates electrical starter and there is no generator. Riding li&ts use petrQ-
leun fuel and there is a megaphone for signalling. Boat is to be painted light
gray above the water line. Carrying nearly 120 liters of fuel the boat has a
cruising range of 140 nautical wiles. The hull is steel 2-ms thick below the water
line and 1.5-M thick above.
