OF PAGES 1 REQUIREMENT NO. RD REFERENCES SUBJECT Fortifications in the Zlatograd Area THE SOURCE EVALUATIONS IN THIS REPORT ARE DEFINITIVE. THE APPRAISAL OP CONTENT IS TENTATIVE. (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) following fortifications in the a. A new zastava adjoined by a soccer field located at approximately N 41-25, E 24-55; b. An abandoned Bulgarian guard post located approximately N 41-25, E 24-56; c. A "prosek", approximately 300 x 500 meters, located approximately N 41-23-30, E 24-56-55. The area was well-cleaned, with a barbed wire fence which appeared to extend for 10 kilometers. The fence was approximately 1.5 meters high, and wooden posts were located approximately 1.5 meters apart. There were approximately 10-12 horizontal strands of barbed wire, with wire interwoven in the form of an "X" between the posts. Bulgaria gunfire from the direction of Alamovtsi (N 41-24, E 25-01) 50X1-HUM assumed was Bulgarian soldiers carrying out practice firing. five ore mines south of N 41-26, E 24-54, and to the southeast, poles for the aerial cable leading to Borinovo (N 41-29, E 24-56).
