There were huge quantities,. of lumber in.Mezeb4 the sa'imill area .was being ,expanded An easterly and .zrortherly.directions. New plank fences, were. set up. around. the enlarged area. The fence posts. were logs with the, usual horizontal planks.. and- with pointed planks standing side by -side between the posts. The.$hight of the.fence.was estimated at 2.,20 to 2.30 'meters. Between the inner and ;outer pontoon dock there was a'shoal,which informantts ship had great difficulty in passing. ITh-- dh ;pc dragged:...: bottom the whole time. The river was.dredged above the upper pontoon.dock, where the passenger boats. 'were -usually anchored. the tank which was.located south:'of Akulov Point was a .tar tank.
