NOTE:" In corformity with the Decree of 15.3.53 regarding the
reorganization of Ministries of USSR, the Praesidiurn of
the Supreme Council RSFSR issued the following Decrees
regarding a similar reorganization of Ministries of
RSFSR. Similar Decrees for the Governments of the
Autonomous Republics of RSFSR were dated 30.5.53 and
Pdc~l 5.8.53 but no details were published.

No details were published of the organizations which were merged
into the Ministry of Agriculture & procurements, but the Ministry
as such was mentioned and the Minister was appointed on the
15th August 1953, If that merger follows the pattern of the
USSR reorganization, it should represent the merger of the
following: Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of State Farms
and the Ministry of Forestry.
On the 18th September 1953, the Ministry of State Farms was
i'e-established separately again in the USSR and it was announced
that a similar change would be made in the RSFSR.
Notably, the Session of the Supreme Council RSFSR of August
27th 1953, mentioned no Decree merging the Ministry of Light.'Inde
with the Ministry of Food Ind. (which had taken place in the USSR
Government but was subsequently amended by the re-establishment
of the Ministry of Food Industry USSR on Sept.l8th 1953 and the
creation of the Ministry of Manufactured Consumer Goods,. the
latter comprising the same functions as those of the Ministry of
Light Industry until the merger Decree of 15.3.53?
