1. Crossen is the location of a major ore washing plant of the Wismut A.G.
The installation, which receives its ore from various mines, has a rail-
road connection and is served by the Zwickau main railroad station. The
freight dispatch station at Oberrotenbach handles only piece goods.
2. The ore processed at Crossen is packed in sheet metal boxes and dispatched
to Annaberg-Bucholz snd,,r the designation Konzentrat. At Annaberg, the
boxcars loaded with Konzentrat are assembled into complete trains and
then dispatched to Brest-Litovsk. The ore shipments dispatched from
Zwickau to Annaberg were sent by Object No. 101 and consigned to Object
No. 54.
