In September 1954, a new uranium mine had been opened at Radvanice (051/OS5) and another was reported at Horni Misecky (051/056). The latter place was a mountain resort, but huts and cottages have now been evacuated. 2. Test drilling for uranium was being carried out in the late summer of 1954 on Jested Mountain (051/016).This place is linked to Liberec by mountain railway and is a tourist resort.
