1. Underground mining into Czechoslovakian territory is being vigorously
pursued by Object 1, since rich ore is being mined there. Penetration up
to 2 km. underground into Czechoslovakian territory is being allowed.
Wismut A. G. operations are scheduled to connect with a former Czech shaft
at Breitenbach (Potu4y) near Johanngeorgenitadt by 1,14hy 1955.
2. Deep-boring operations are in progress about 2 km. southwest of Breitenbrunn;
two drilling towers are located in that area.
3. Chief of Object 1 is Fancy. The chief of Schacht 54 is on leave; Chief
Engineer Viktor Zuichov is his deputy. The head of the Department of
Technical Control (OTK) of Schacht 54 is Gebarin.
