In early August 1955, technicians in the Architecture Section were planning the rebuilding of the kitchen of an existing canteen for 1,000 workers in a Mining Object. Another project was the planning of a washroom for 35 men, also in a Mining Object. 3, 4 5. At the beginning of September 1955, the following projects were being worked on in the Technical section: 3 a. The planning of a conveyor belt bridge (Forderbruecke) for the pithead of Schacht 367, located in the Ronneburg, Thuringia.. area, This is a fully auto- matic installation designed to classify the ore coming to the surface in mine cars; to empty the ore into bunkers; to wash the mine cars; and to return them underground. Two winding engines, drum diameter 6,500 m.m,, will be required and will probably be ordered from VEB Ma.schinenbau Nordhausen. It is estimated that the planning of this installation will occupy ten men for about eight weeks, 5 b. Planning the foundations (Pundamente) for the winding engine for the new haul- ing Schacht of Object 9, Schacht 366 at Alberoda. Most of the work on the plan- ning of this project has already been done; however some minor tasks remain. The winding engines at this Schacht are to be one 5,500 m.m. diameter endless pulley t e (Koeperscheibe) and one 6,500 m.m. diameter drum type (Tromm.el )Taschz4e) . c. Planning the foundations for a project for the enlargement of Zeche 10 of Object 101.
