1. A sample of nonpharmaceutical material was obtained from the Kharkov Plant
Selection Station in Kharkov. This material was handled in a manner which
precluded its contamination after collection.
2. A laboratory analysis of this material revealed the presence of a strain of
Penicillium producing penicillin-G.
