SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT p THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION Phis report is the result of a joint collection effort by the Air Force, the Krill and CIA and is disseminated in accordance with the provisions of NSCID 7] 25X1 25X1 25X1 1. The Abasar Armored Regiment, stationed at Abasar Kaserne (47 48 N/20 00 E) is a part of the G Armored Division with h .at s 2 4 47 H1 568. 2 1 2. The regiment is equipped only with T-34 tanks. F--]some larger tanks with 2 85 it guns from some other unit stationed near Abaser. 3. In the field, during maneuvers, the tank company commander rides in the fifth tank. The political officer and company clerk return to battalion headquarters. The technical service officer and tank mechanic ride in the tank retriever. The Battalion Security officer did not appear to occupy a set position in the battalion, but moved around checking on the officers and talking to the men about the tanks and training. 4.
